Help children with brain injury discover the power of play
Every day we see how magical play is for children with brain injury and neurodisability. It helps children learn, make friends, build confidence, become more independent and feel a whole new sense of control over their lives.
But to buy all the specialist toys and equipment we need to make sure every child we support has the chance to discover the power of play for themselves, we depend on the kindness of people like you.
We passionately believe it’s every child’s right to be able to play – and that absolutely includes all of the children and young people we care for. Some may need a little extra support and encouragement, but that’s exactly what we’re here for. Together, we can make children’s lives more special through play - but without more donations we just can't afford all the specialist equipment we know would make the biggest difference.
Michelle, Erin’s mum, explains what an impact play has had on her daughter:
“Play has been such an integral part of Erin’s rehabilitation. It has been fundamental in helping her to work through her traumatic experience in a safe and fun environment. There have been countless benefits of this type of rehabilitation including encouraging trusting relationships, allowing her to express herself and share anxieties, and to enhance fine motor skills and hand eye co-ordination in a creative way.”
All of our play facilities and sessions are funded by supporters like you. We depend on you to help more children with brain injury and neurodisability discover the transformative power of play. So please donate whatever you can today.
Thank you so much for your support.
