Nicholas Owen has recorded a message explaining why support is needed for children with brain injury during coronavirus.
Speaking on The Children's Trust's Facebook page, Nicholas explained how he is a volunteer driver for The Children's Trust, but is currently unable to volunteer due to lockdown.
Explaining why the charity needs support for it's special appeal at this time, Nicholas said:
The Children's Trust require round the clock, very highly skilled care, and now they face the highly difficult task of trying to prevent the children's getting Covid-19.
Nicholas also sent a special message of support to staff at The Children's Trust.
Nicholas became a local volunteer driver for the charity in June 2019, driving children and young people at The Children’s Trust to and from vital medical appointments, activity days (which are a crucial part of their rehabilitation) and home.
