Located just south of London, only 30 minutes from London Gatwick and Heathrow airports, our specialist centre is situated within 24 acres of beautiful woodlands with purpose-built facilities for children and young people with neurological conditions and complex health needs. Our experienced multidisciplinary clinical team led by Professor Gareth Morgan, use their expertise to provide a tailored rehabilitation programme to meet each child's individual needs. Our team includes consultant paediatricians, physiotherapists, neuropsychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, musical therapists, health play specialists and specialist nurses.
The whole team is experienced in liaising with health professionals internationally and have worked with children and families from all over the world.
Support for families of children with brain injury
International families are supported by our dedicated Placements Team who will arrange translation for the child during treatment. Our multidisciplinary team works with families to ensure they are also involved in what is happening during the daily programme, with particular attention given to respect individual cultural, religious and language needs.
We have on-site accommodation for parents and their other children so the whole family can be close to the child receiving treatment during their stay. Family accommodation is equipped with en-suite bathrooms, cooking facilities and international TV channels. Housekeeping services are also provided. Families can borrow cars for local trips so they can get out and about during their stay. Our team can help you with a range of services before, during and after your child's stay.
