It’s looking to recruit young adult stroke survivors who want to use their experiences to support others.

The charity’s asking stroke survivors between 18-30 years old, who had a stroke more than two years ago, if they have a few hours a month to talk to younger survivors about their own experiences and support them through recovery.

This role will be based from home and will take part over email or phone. Mentors will be matched up to share their own experience and support teens and young people who have recently had a stroke.

You can find out more here and Different Strokes will provide training and support.

You can read real stories from children and young people who have had a stroke on Different Strokes website and on the Brain Injury Hub.
