This week, we have been celebrating National Doughnut Week- a week where businesses including bakers, coffee shops, and offices take part to sell lots of delicious doughnuts - and raise vital funds for The Children’s Trust.

To get into the spirit, of the week, the children that we support have been decorating doughnuts! This fun and tasty activity goes beyond just being yummy; it also provides valuable sensory enrichment. By decorating doughnuts, the children can explore different textures, colours, and flavours, which helps stimulate their senses and supports their rehabilitation process.

It’s not just the children that have been getting creative for National Doughnut Week! One dedicated supporter knitted an amazing scene on top of a post box to help raise donations.

We are grateful to all the businesses and individuals who participate in National Doughnut Week and help us make a difference. Together, we are creating moments of joy and contributing to the vital work of supporting children with brain injury and neurodisability.

There’s still time to visit your local bakery and grab a treat for a good cause. Let’s make this week a sweet success!
