Please help support our special appeal

Protect the things that matter this Christmas. Help us be there for children with brain injury who need the specialist help we can provide.

Make a donation

We will have young people with a brain injury or neurodisability staying with us at The Children’s Trust this Christmas for intensive rehabilitation, and in our specialist, residential school. And we want to give each one of them a Christmas Eve Box with a superpower: all kinds of sensory effects that help with a child’s therapy.

However, this year is going to be really tough with the cost of living crisis hitting us so hard.

The difficult choices we are facing here at The Children’s Trust go far beyond whether we can give each child a Christmas Eve Box. We are facing eye-watering cost increases which are impacting the transformational care we provide.

The best way you can help is to make a donation today, but there are so many other ways you can get involved and help keep our vital services going for children with brain injury – take a look at the ideas below.

More ways to support us

Donate your unwanted pennies

The Coronavirus is moving us towards a cashless society with many businesses only accepting card payments. If you have pennies and pounds at home that nobody will accept, why not donate them to The Children's Trust?

Do you have an upcoming birthday?

Birthdays during lock down might not be quite what you had in mind, but we've got everything you need to create a party your friends and family will never forget!

Lets get gaming!

Host your own gaming tournament

Are you a gaming fanatic or want to connect with your family and friends in a fun way whilst supporting children and young people with brain injury? Then this is the best type of fundraising for you!

Donate your commute

If you are saving money on your daily commute or morning coffee why not donate what you would be spending to The Children’s Trust?

Out of office email

What does your out of office say? You may have updated it to say that you are working from home but have you included a giving opportunity? Why not include a link to The Children’s Trust appeal.

Home Challenges

If you are at home with the children struggling to educate them and keep them entertained why don’t you set them a challenge and sponsor them. It could be cooking, cleaning or making something creative.

Sponsored haircut

Are you missing out on your hair cut and colour? Is your hair getting a little wayward? Why don’t you nominate a friend or co-worker to cut their own hair, if they say yes they can get sponsored, say no and ask them to make a donation to The Children’s Trust.

Amazon Smile

Shop online and AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of the net purchase to The Children’s Trust at no extra cost to you. All you need to do is shop through smile.amazon.co.uk and select The Children’s Trust. You will still have access to the same selection of products at the same price but with the added benefit of a nice donation to The Children’s Trust.
