Rehabilitation Awareness Week, is an initiative led by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. This is the perfect time to introduce you to the team behind The Children's Trust's Community Rehabilitation Service, starting with Savannah, one of our Highly Specialist Physiotherapists.

We caught up with Savannah who works with the children we support, helping them rebuild strength, movement, and independence, not just in the clinic, but back in their own homes, schools, and communities.

The Children’s Trust has received a new accessible minibus thanks to a generous gift from long‑standing volunteer Jim Bush, helping children with brain injury travel safely to hospital appointments and enjoy days out with their families.

Launa Randles, Headteacher of The Children’s Trust School and Qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (QTVI), has been awarded a Tes award for Specialist Provision School Leader of the Year 2026, recognising her exceptional leadership and innovative work in sensory education.

From Monday 1 to Sunday 7 June 2026, The Children’s Trust will join thousands of charities and voluntary organisations recognising the contribution volunteers make across the UK.
