Please read the Welcome card and familiarise yourself with the activities. Our sessions are child-centred and can be as short or long as your young person desires, ranging from 5 to 30 minutes at a time. Start with Level 1 activities and progress over time, but don't worry too much about levels. Try incorporating Listening, Doing, and Interacting activities in each session.
Take note of the activities attended in one session and observe your child's responses. Identify which activities were particularly successful or not and try them more than once, even if they weren't initially successful. Persistence can yield exciting results.
If you have iPads at home, we recommend trying accessible and easy-to-use musical apps like ThumbJam, DrumJam, LaunchPad, and Bloom. Additionally, having a small range of hand percussion instruments can be useful, but don't hesitate to use everyday objects like pans, coins, boxes, tubs, and tins, as they can create wonderful sounds too. Let's embark on this musical journey together, creating enriching experiences for your child.
